Outreach

Work that is not for the enrolled

The trust runs a set of programmes for people who are not its students at all — farmers, growers and women in the villages around Asangaon. This is the part of its work it is best known for locally.

25,000+

Farmers served by the soil laboratory

A laboratory that goes to the field

The trust's soil and water testing laboratory is mobile. It travels to villages across Dahanu and Palghar, takes samples from the root zone, and returns nutrient readings with a recommendation the grower can actually act on — what to add, how much, and when. For a smallholder, that is the difference between guessing at fertiliser and knowing.
